Sites for Change was born from our work with passionate organizations making real change in their communities. Working with nonprofits from Cleveland and beyond, we saw firsthand how the right digital presence could transform an organization’s impact. We helped these changemakers become leading voices in their space, but we also saw how many incredible organizations were held back simply because they couldn’t afford professional web services. Our custom web design services through MarvelousWeb Media weren’t the best fit for these smaller organizations.
That’s when we knew we had to create something different: complete website support—custom design, content creation, and ongoing maintenance—all for a monthly fee organizations could actually afford.

Long before Hannah was tech lead for Sites for Change and MarvelousWeb Media founder, she was the tech lead for her household of 9. Starting at the age of 12 whenever anything tech related broke, Hannah would tinker until she found the fix. By the age of 14, Hannah was building websites, marketing strategies, and using her skills to help the local community. One compsci degree and 15 years of web design and development experience later, she’s full force ahead using her tech skills to build the world she wants.
Socrates grew up across north & south America, connecting with her Latina identity while living in Argentina and Peru and gaining a deep understanding of the breadth of diversity in lived experiences across the USA. Starting in high-school Socrates became interested in activism, challenging her peers and the institutions she was a part of to have accountability for their social impact and take constructive action. Socrates began her career in medical research all the while continuing to volunteer. After switching to the marketing field, she decided to combine her scientific approach, knowledge of marketing, and passion for social impact work together to co-found Sites for Change.
